He graduated from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas in 1985 and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1988. Mark has served as pastor in Jonesboro, Marshall and Van, Texas before moving to McKinney.
Mark summarizes his vision for Crosspoint this way: "My vision is to see Crosspoint impact and influence people for Christ in ever increasing ways. Our goal is for people to discover and experience grace and assurance of eternal life in Jesus Christ and to develop their personal relationship with Christ to its fullest through worship, friendship, personal spiritual growth and service."

While living in College Station, Leah was first introduced to the idea of working in children's ministry when she was employed in the Central Baptist Church's Mother's Day Out program.
After her husband graduated in 1998, the two lived briefly in Houston before moving together in 2000 to the Plano area where they attended Fellowship Bible Church North. Leah was brought on staff at Fellowship after she felt God's call while directing a VBS in Mexico in the summer of 2000 and over the next seven years had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles including time as the Director of Outreach as well as Assistant Children's Minister. Leah, her husband, and their four children currently reside in Sachse, Texas.

When Amy found Christ in 1998, her desire was to spend more time with God, as well as her children. He provided the way for both. Unbeknownst to her, God had been preparing her to work in ministry for all those years in Corporate America. In February, 2001, Amy joined the staff at Crosspoint Church and her desires were fulfilled.
Providing support to Pastor Mark and other staff members, as well as general assistance to members of the church family, are just part of her responsibilities. She performs the secretarial duties and keeps record of the financial matters involving Crosspoint.
